Paradissi village, located near the new airport Diagoras of Rhodes (inaugurated in 1977) and the air corridor is not the haven of tranquility that his name might have been expected (Παράδεισος paradise).
The village, formerly known by the name of Villanova Grand Master Helion de Villeneuve who have founded, has the remains of a fortress. We can guess many rooms, the governor’s mansion with beautiful frames of Arms, and the ruins of a beautiful Gothic chapel called St. Catherine.
