Medieval fortifications seem to always protect the village and offer a beautiful view of the beach from Kiotari in Gennadi .
In Greek mythology, Asclepius is in the Homeric epic, a Thessalian hero then, in the classical period, the god of medicine. It corresponds to the Roman Aesculapius. Its main attribute is the caduceus, a staff around which is wound a snake, now the symbol of medicine.
