At Teno, the great architectural value can appreciate old houses in different places together, many of which are being restored and dedicated to rural tourism
There are also, in Teno, important archaeological remains that attest to the presence of Guanche in this region.
Around Teno, the Rural Park Teno is one of the most attractive protected areas, with spectacular rural and seascapes, a natural monument where the massive and ravines are of incomparable beauty.
Near Teno, cape Punta de Teno with its old lighthouse (1895) marks the most westerly point of the island of Tenerife.
The road to Punta de Teno is quite feasible: you drive in the middle of towering peaks and huge cliffs. Arriving to the tip, the open moorland, the lighthouse is visible, the island of La Gomera in the distance, and on the left, the cliffs called Los Gigantes.
