|The road to Bajamar continues along the coast to Punta del Hidalgo. The tourist village of fishermen and a small municipal pool of sea water located at Los Areniscos, whose entrance is free.|
The coastline is characterized by its many coves and natural pools that fill with the tide, especially in the area of Las Furnias.
The part of the coast called El Buigo was arranged for camping. The beach of San Juan is located just down the coast. It’s a nice beach when the sea is calm.
From Punta del Hidalgo a hiking trail allows to reach the village of Los Batanes (also called El Batán) following a “levada”, that is to say, a small irrigation canal that brings water the mountain cultures of the valley.
