PresentationPresentation

General presentationGeneral presentation
A northern part of town is classified as a natural park and is a larger set with the area that includes the valley of Güímar and the two sides of the dorsal mountain range.

The Caldera de Pedro Gil with the volcano Las Arenas or Arafo is a fine example of erosion caldera, inside which there is a historic volcanic edifice (1705) which, besides its natural interest, brings great value to the landscape .

Ravines that descend from the Cordillera dorsal contain valuable natural sites, such as Añavingo where there are numerous botanical endemic species.
