It is on the heights of the town from where you can access from the area Izaña lies the volcano Fasnia which erupted in 1705. Three volcanic buildings are aligned along a fracture running from northeast to southwest, with a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
On the coast, the cliffs of La Hondura not only stands out for the singularity of its salt-tolerant vegetation, but also because it is an area where took refuge and where many nesting sea birds, migratory and sedentary.
The area of Los Roques is also interesting. The ravine Erques, located on the border with the municipality of Güímar, is another protected area of great natural value.
