Port de Valldemossa is after a very winding road, about 7 km from the center of Valldemossa, but there is no public transport to get there.

Port of Valldemossa. Click to enlarge the image.The small port of Valldemossa is a lovely place, although its range is very small and pebbled, the place is quiet and the water is clear and you can swim comfortably in the cove surrounded by rocky cliffs.

Mallorca is an island that has often been Barbary pirate raids. For this reason, the cities were not located near the sea, but about ten kilometers from the coast (in Valldemossa as in Sóller or Pollença). This distance gave the necessary time in the event of an attack from the sea to the city to prepare an effective defense.

You can have lunch in one of the harbor restaurants. One of them, the Bar Es Port, has a huge terrace height and serves tapas and Mediterranean cuisine from 10:00 to 18:00.
