Agulo is renowned for its festivals: that of St. Mark, April 25, where they lit many bonfires that last night around which organizes the festival. That of St. John, June 24, is to see: people dressed in burlesque, farandolent in neighborhoods, swapping to and mocking songs, dancing the night away in multiple fireworks.

Natural ParkJuego de Bolas
In Las Rosas, a small town located a few kilometers from Agulo, towards Vallehermoso, one on the left a road at a place called Juego de Bolas (the "Ball Game”), where is located the Visitors Center (Centro de Visitantes) that absolutely worth a detour through exhibitions and permanent information including the National Park of Garajonay, which can find. A botanical garden shows a sample of 400 plant species in the National Park, including thirty endemic species.

A museum to discover the traditions of La Gomera, including the “jump of the shepherd”: a large wooden pole, the astia, once used to cross the irregularities racing down the mountain.

The village of Agulo was founded September 27, 1607.

In 1774 a landslide completely destroyed the village had to be rebuilt below.
