La Vegueta is a village west of the island of Lanzarote; with the village of Yuco, the town constitutes a whole that is sometimes called La Vegueta de Yuco. La Vegueta de Yuco is part of the municipality of Tinajo and has about 700 residents. The village is predominantly agricultural, especially facing the vineyards and orchards.
The village of Yuco includes a beautiful chapel, the “Ermita de la Virgen de Regla”.
La Vegueta is located 4 km southeast of Tinajo, the LZ-20 highway, and 5 km east of Mancha Blanca by the LZ-46 highway. Yuco is located immediately north of La Vegueta.
The Chapel of Our Lady of Regla was built in the late seventeenth century; it contains an altarpiece of the Virgin of the seventeenth century and tables.
