Surrounded by walls built in the sixteenth century Charles V, the ancient core of the city kept a fairly rustic medieval character, where the noble houses with large courtyards and Gothic windows are not uncommon.
The Ibiza Cathedral
It dominates the city from its tower of the thirteenth century. The nave was rebuilt in the seventeenth century. In front of the head, a bastion of the old fortifications was built in gazebo, where you get a panoramic view of the city and harbor.
The Archaeological Museum of Ibiza and Formentera
Among the collections, those that refer to the Punic culture are the most unique. Remarks: ex-votos collected in Ibiza and Formentera in the excavations of Illa Plana and the cave of Es Ciuram.
