General presentationGeneral information
Lepetane offers the most impressive panorama of Kotor and its mountainous ECRIN. The road keeps along the water and meeting of ravissants hamlets, of which most beautiful is that of Prčanj, with its pretty palaces baroques and its church with dome.
The village of Lepetane draws its name from the Italian word “the puttane” (i.e. “whores”), since the place was attended by girls with sailors.

Into Serb Cyrillic, Lepetane is written Лепетани.

At the time Venetian, the village named Lepetani.

Lepetane is to 13 km of Kotor while following southern bank of the gulf of Kotor.
