Lepetane offers the most impressive panorama of Kotor and its mountainous ECRIN. The road keeps along the water and meeting of ravissants hamlets, of which most beautiful is that of Prčanj, with its pretty palaces baroques and its church with dome.
EtymologyEtymology
The village of Lepetane draws its name from the Italian word “the puttane” (i.e. “whores”), since the place was attended by girls with sailors.

Into Serb Cyrillic, Lepetane is written Лепетани.

At the time Venetian, the village named Lepetani.

SituationSituation

Lepetane is to 13 km of Kotor while following southern bank of the gulf of Kotor.

General information
Since Lepetane one can take the vat for Kamenari to regain Dubrovnik to 60 km.

From June to September: all 15 min, 24/24h; from October to May: 5:00 at 24:00 (all 15 min).
